Our fearless guide, Finn the Mouse Sherpa, sets out on his latest mission: The Character Chase! His goal? Help the Peters family—mom, dad, and their three energetic daughters—meet their favorite Disney characters.
Main Street Dash
The Peters family, wide-eyed and full of excitement, wait eagerly at the park entrance ready to conquer the day. Finn meets and leads the Peters family to their first stop: Main Street, U.S.A. There, characters are popping up in the Town Square. The girls squeal in delight as Finn points out Minnie and Goofy waving nearby.
Finn's Tip: "Main Street’s characters often come out right after the park opens. We’re beating the lines by coming early and staying focused!"
The family dashes over, and the three daughters proudly collect autographs and take photos with Minnie and Goofy. The smiles on their faces are priceless as they cross two characters off their list.

Toontown Sprint
Finn, always a step ahead, has scouted out the best route to make a dash for Mickey’s House in Toontown. The three daughters, all under 12, can hardly contain their excitement at meeting the big cheese himself. Finn leads them through the gates as soon as they open.
Finn's Tip: "After the park opens, don’t stroll—sprint! Get to Mickey’s House early before the crowds pile in. And don’t forget to check the Disneyland app for Mickey’s schedule!"
The girls, holding tight to their parents' hands, race with Finn through Fantasyland and over to Toontown Drive, arriving at Mickey’s House on Neighborhood Lane just in time to avoid the big crowd. A magical moment awaits as they finally meet Mickey, who bends down to hug each of them and pose for a cherished photo. (Memory core!)
Character Dining Detour
After an early whirlwind morning of character-chasing, Finn has arranged for a much-needed break: a Plaza Inn character breakfast reservation. The Peters family relaxes at their table as characters like Minnie, Chip, and Dale make their way over to greet them. The girls are thrilled to get up-close time with their favorite characters, all while enjoying Mickey shaped waffles, pancakes and eggs.
Finn's Tip: "This is the easiest way to meet multiple characters at once, without long lines or running all over the park!"
The breakfast is filled with laughter, hugs, and autographs, giving the family some magical downtime before their next big adventure.

As the Peters family enters the bustling world of Galaxy’s Edge, Finn leads them through the winding streets of Black Spire Outpost. The girls’ eyes widen as they take in the sights of the Millennium Falcon and the strange alien creatures roaming about. But Finn’s on a mission—he knows exactly where to find the first character of the day.
Finn’s Tip: "The best way to kick off the day is to explore Batuu early! Keep your eyes open for familiar faces—you never know who’s lurking in the crowd."
Suddenly, the family spots Chewbacca, towering above the crowd near the Millennium Falcon. The Peters girls run up to the Wookiee for a quick photo and a hug (well, as close as one can get to a Wookiee hug), and Chewie lets out a friendly roar.
The Resistance Hideout
Next, Finn leads the Peters family towards the Resistance Encampment, hidden among the trees at the outskirts of Batuu. The girls are buzzing with excitement—rumor has it that a certain Jedi hero might be nearby.
Finn’s Tip: "The Resistance is always on the move. If you’re hoping to meet Rey or other heroes, this is the place to be!"
Sure enough, Rey emerges from a hidden path, casually greeting young travelers and recruiting them for the Resistance. The girls rush over to meet the Jedi, asking her about her adventures across the galaxy. With a smile, Rey takes photos and offers them some sage advice about standing strong against the First Order.
Parade Strategy

The Peters family have set up camp along the parade route, thanks to Finn’s expert advice. While waiting for the big afternoon parade to roll by, the girls snack on churros and excitedly scan the crowds for their next favorite characters. As the Parade Cavalcade featuring Disney favorites glide down the route, Finn knows just the right moment to make his move.
Finn's Tip: "Stay near the parade's end or close to the route’s start. After the show, characters might stop by for a few photos. The key is positioning! We’re in prime character territory."
After the parade ends, the family spots Donald Duck and Pluto lingering by the exit. Finley quickly guides the Peters family over for some hugs and high-fives before they disappear into the crowd.
The Rivers of America Escape
As the day winds down, the Peters family gathers along the water’s edge for the evening Fantasmic! show. Finn has one last trick up his sleeve. After the show, while many families start heading home, Finn guides the Peters family to a quieter spot by the Rivers of America. Suddenly, Peter Pan and Captain Hook appear, mingling with the remaining guests!
Finn's Final Tip: "The best adventures happen when you keep going. Even at the end of the day, there’s magic to be found!"
With one final round of character interactions and a photo of the Peters girls standing tall with Peter Pan, Finn’s Character Chase mission is complete. The family walks away, full of joy, arms loaded with autographs, and memories they’ll cherish forever.
